NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS

To maintain necessary clearances for safe and reliable electric service, Appalachian Power plans to manage vegetation along a portion of its 34.5 kilovolt distribution/transmission system in Mercer County, Monroe County, and McDowell County W.Va. On or about June 1st thru October 2018, contract crews will begin selectively applying herbicides to brush along our rights of way. Rights of way in the area involved in the program are:

Minnix Mtn Wenonaha Circuit (Crystal, Piedmont, Lashmeet, and Giatto areas)
South Princeton Oakvale Circuit (Mt. Horeb, Old Athens Rd area)
Princeton Athens Rd Circuit (Oakvale Rd, S. Wicham rd area, Old Oakvale rd area)
Princeton Thorn Street Circuit, (Gardner rd, Brickyard, Thorton Ave area)
Princeton East Town Circuit, (Park Ave area, Low Gap rd area)
Switchback Brammel Circuit, (Rt.52 North from Bluefield to North Fork, Brammel and Pocahontas area)
Switchback Crumpler Circuit (Crumpler area)
Switchback North Fork Circuit (North Fork Area, Burke Mtn area, Copper Hill area)
Welch Roderfield Circuit (Rt.52 Welch to Rt.52 Roderfield area)
Glen Lyn Peterstown Circuit (Mt. Abraham, Indian Mills Rd near Bluestone Park).

Representatives will attempt to personally contact resident property owners at least seven business days prior to working on their property.
