Notice is hereby given that Kanawha River Materials, LLC, PO Box 358, Dorton, KY 41520 has a permit on file with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) for the surface mining of approximately 22.08 acres and has submitted an application to the DEP, 1101 George Kostas Drive, Logan, WV 25601, for renewal of Article 3 Permit Number P055300 to operate a preparation plant. The operation is discharging into Hicks Hollow of/and Kanawha River and is located 0.9 miles Northeast of Cabin Creek in Cabin Creek District of Kanawha County, Longitude 81°28’36” and Latitude 38°12’9” (Coordinates from USGS Topographic Map).
