NOTIFICATION OF
PUBLIC HEARING
TAKE NOTICE – Pursuant to Section 22.1-79 of the Code of Virginia, the Tazewell County School Board will hold a public hearing at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as may be heard on June 25, 2018 at Tazewell Middle School, 367 Hope Street, Tazewell, Virginia 24651, to obtain public comment regarding the consolidation of Springville Elementary School with Dudley Primary and Graham Intermediate School at the end of the 2017-18 school term. The Springville Elementary School would close and all students will attend Dudley Primary and Graham Intermediate School. Anyone wishing to express comment regarding the proposed consolidation, should appear at that time and place to be heard. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act, if special assistance is needed to participate in a meeting of the Tazewell County School Board, please contact the School Board Clerk by telephone at (276) 988-5511 ext. 2240, by facsimile at (276) 988-6765, or by email at [email protected] . A notification of five (5) working days before the meeting will enable the Tazewell County School Board to make reasonable arrangements to ensure accessibility to the meeting.
