NOTICE
PUBLIC HEARING
ON PROPOSED
ORDINANCE
TO: CITIZENS OF THE CITY OF FAIRMONT:
The Council of the City of Fairmont at its regular meeting held September 28, 2021 introduced and publicly read in its entirety for the first time the following City Ordinances:
1. An Ordinance Providing For An Amendment To The City Of Fairmont’s 2021-2022 Annual Budget: General Fund.
2. An Ordinance Of The Council Of The City Of Fairmont Amending And Supplementing Ordinance No. 1900 Duly Adopted June 8, 2021, Which Ordinance Provides For The City Of Fairmont’s Current Pay Plan And List Of Occupational Classes For All Class Titles And Employees, To Accommodate A Reorganization Of The Planning Department And To Provide For A Base Pay Increase For Municipal Judge.
3. An Ordinance Of The Council For The City Of Fairmont Providing For An Amendment To Ordinance No. 1329, Codified As Part One-Administrative Code, Chapter Seven – Boards, Commissions And Authorities, Article 159 Sanitary Board, Of The Fairmont City Code And More Particularly Section 159.01 Created; Composition Thereof, To Amend The Qualifications Of The Members Of The Sanitary Board.
Copies of the proposed Ordinances are available in the office of the City Clerk, Room 312, 200 Jackson Street, Fairmont, West Virginia.
The Public Hearing on the proposed items will be held at 7:00 p.m. or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 in Council Chambers, at the Public Safety Building, 500 Quincy Street, Fairmont, West Virginia.
Any interested person may appear at the public hearing and be heard as to whether or not said proposed Ordinance shall be enacted. All objections and suggestions shall be heard and Council shall take such action as it deems necessary in the premises.
