CITY OF BLUEFIELD,

REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
The City of Bluefield, West Virginia is seeking separate responses for four (4) phases to this Request for Proposals from interested parties for the development of a parking facility located between Raleigh Street, Steward Street, and Princeton Avenue in Bluefield, West Virginia. The primary factors contributing to the consideration of the parking facility in Bluefield are as following:
1. Asphalt Paving
a. 8,600 Ft2 (2-inch surface overlay)
b. 28,800 Ft2 (2-inch base; 2-inch surface)
2. Concrete Sidewalk (w/ADA curb cuts and 3 entrance/exits)
3. LED Lighting
4. Parking Lot Striping (100 Parking Spaces; 9’x18′- 90deg.)
Proposal Requirements:

— Proposed price for the project
ALL PROPOSALS MUST BE RECEIVED BY 4:00 P.M. LOCAL TIME, MAY, 17th, 2019
Faxed or emailed proposals cannot be accepted.
The City of Bluefield will afford full opportunity for minority business enterprises to submit a show of interest in response to this invitation and will not discriminate against any interested firm or individual on the grounds of race, creed, color, sex, age, handicap or national origin in the contract award. The City of Bluefield reserves the right to contract with one firm for the entire project or more than one firm for various components of the project, as the City deems to be in its best interest.
