NOTICE OF FILING AND HEARING
On August 1, 2016. Black Diamond Power Company (Black Diamond) applied for revised consolidated purchased power rates. This proceeding is designed to consolidate the various elements of purchasing power into a single annual Commission review. Black Diamond has requested a purchased power surcharge of $0.0813697 per kwh. The total proposed surcharge would result in an annual rate decrease of $262,795. Black Diamond also stated that it has accumulated a total under collected balance of $79,753 for its consolidated purchased power costs.
This matter is scheduled for an evidentiary hearing on October 25, 2016, at 9:30 a.m., at the offices of the Public Service Commission, 201 Brooks St., Charleston, WV 25301. Interested persons may attend the hearing and make public comment.

Failure to timely protest or intervene can affect your rights to protest or participate in future proceedings.
