Utility Truck Purchase

ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
The Clay County Public Service District is accepting bids for the purchase of a utility truck for use in conjunction with the operation and maintenance of its public water supply system. Bids will be received by Chapman Technical Group, 200 Sixth Avenue, St. Albans, WV 25177 on behalf of the Clay County PSD, 247 Main Street, Clay, West Virginia 25043 until 1:30 p.m., December 31, 2019. The bid price shall include the cost of providing the required vehicle with all equipment, including utility bed and crane, along with warranty information for a complete and functional vehicle as described herein, with a full tank of gas.
A 2019 or 2020 Ford F-350, or equivalent make & model, white in color, extended cab 4×4 (bed delete), 56” cab or rear axle, single rear wheel, 8’ long pickup bed (delete) cab & chassis with factory backup camera kit, GVWR 10,800 lbs., factory receiver hitch package, or equivalent, with the following:
1. 6.2 L Gas Engine
2. 10-Speed Automatic Transmission
3. 3.73 Regular Rear Axle
4. Power Equipment Group
5. Running Boards
6. Spare Tire & Wheel
7. Brake Controller
8. Cruise Control
9. Rear Camera Prep Kit
10. 8’ Utility Bed & Hydraulic Crane (Baker Equipment, or equivalent)
11. Safety Lighting as follows:
a. Utility Body taillights must strobe (amber)
b. Two amber/white LED strobe lights on top of each side of Utility Body and two of same in
front grill, each side.
c. 16” mini LED light bar (amber) mounted using 3rd brake light bracket
(no drilling of cab will be permitted)
Utility bed shall be Style: 1-696 J Knapheide Utility Bod, or equivalent, with following features:

Telescopic Electric Hydraulic Crane shall be Style: 1-206 RELS Liftmoore, or equivalent, with the
following features:

3. 12 Volt electric hydraulic power 360 degree rotation, power boom elevation -5 to 75 degrees
4. Manual boom extend from 5.5’ to 9’

No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the time of the opening of the bids. The Clay County PSD reserves the right to reject any or all bids.
Manufacturer’s vehicle warranty of no less than 36 months, and 12 month warranty on utility bed and components.
