Public Hearing

The City of Fairmont’s Board of Zoning Appeals will hold a public hearing for the following request on March 5, 2015 at 7:00 P.M. at the Public Safety Building, 500 Quincy Street, at which time interested persons may appear and be heard.
Rudy Hoffert of City Neon, Inc., on behalf of Busy Beaver, is requesting a variance from the Fairmont City Code, Section 1342.08 (3) (B) (3) (Multi-Tenant Developments) at his business which requires that the aggregate area for all signs is be limited to one and a half (1 1/2) square feet per one (1) lineal foot of street frontage with a maximum aggregate area of one hundred (100) square feet. The proposed wall sign to be placed is approximately 299 square feet. (Tax Map 03-58, parcel 37).
