PUBLIC HEARING The City of Beckley Planning Commission will conduct a Public Hearing on a proposed amendment to the City of Beckley Zoning Ordinance, Section 15-24-(n)-(2)-a, b & c, Limited Video Lottery, changing “Them limited video lottery establishment shall not be located within 1,000 feet of a residential zone, church or place of worship, school, park, community or recreational facility, other limited video lottery to 300 feet. The distance, 1,000 feet to 300 feet shall be measured from the door of the video lottery establishment to the door of the church or place of worship, school, park entrance community or recreational facility or other limited video lottery or the closest building in a residential zone. Anyone who wishes to be heard on this proposed amendment should be present at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, October 4, 2016, in Common Council Chambers, Municipal Building, 409 South Kanawha Street, Beckley, WV.
