PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE
CITY OF RANSON
Ranson City Council will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at 7 pm at Ranson City Hall, 312 S. Mildred Street, Ranson, WV. The purpose of the public hearing is to accept public comments on a petition to rezone the following parcel 08 9000200000000 District 08, Map 9, Parcel 2 located off Cranes Lane, Ranson, WV 25438 (Consisting of 160.65 acres) from Rural Reserve to SmartCode New Community. Upon recommendation and approval of the zoning map amendment by the Ranson Planning Commission.
Copies of the proposed zoning amendment are available upon request from the Community Development Department. All persons are invited to attend and make comments about the proposed amendment. If you cannot attend but wish to comment, you may write to the following address prior to July 15, 2025: City of Ranson, Attn: City Clerk, 312 S. Mildred Street, Ranson, WV, 25438 or [email protected]. Written comments received prior to July 15, 2025, will be provided to the Ranson City Council and inserted into the official record.
