Public Meeting Notice The Town of Smithers has chosen to file an application with the West Virginia Development Office for Small Cities Community Development Block Grant Funds. The Town of Smithers will hold a public meeting at Smithers Town Hall in Smithers on Monday April 11, 2016 at 6:45 p.m. The purpose of the Public Meeting will be to discuss and receive citizens input in relation to community development, the needs of low and moderate income persons, and provide citizens with information concerning the Small Cities Community Development Block Grant Program. All persons having an interest in the housing and community development needs and needs of low and moderate income persons of Smithers are encouraged to attend the meeting or express their views to the Town of Smithers by the above date. Provisions for the disabled may be made by contacting the Town of Smithers in advance of the meeting date.
