Separate SEALED BIDS for: Wetzel County Courthouse, Bell Tower Stairs
will be received by the Wetzel County Commission, 200 Main Street, New Martinsville, WV 26155, at the above address until:
9:30 AM, Local Time
Tuesday, September 28
And at that time and place will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The Work includes installation of steel beams to reinforce the Courthouse bell tower access stairs, as well as replacing the guard railing along the stairs.
The BID DOCUMENTS are on file at the above address.
Bid Documents will be available online at www.svaeng.net, or may be obtained for a cost of $50 from Swiss Valley Associates, Inc, 42631 State Route 7, P.O. Box 39; Hannibal, OH 43931, (740) 483-2351.
Each Bid must be accompanied by either a bid bond in an amount of 5% of the Bid amount or by certified check or cashier’s check in the amount of not less than 5% of the Bid amount. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance and payment bond for 100% of the contract price.
The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any and all bids.
A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at the Commissioners office, 200 Main Street, New Martinsville, WV 26155 on Wednesday, September 15 at 10:00 AM.
