Bids for
Snow Removal
The Corporation of
Harpers Ferry is currently
seeking snow plowing/
snow removal bids for the
2021-2022 season.
Bidders must be licensed
and insured in the State of
West Virginia and must
obtain a business license
with the Corporation of
Harpers Ferry. Bidders
must be able to respond
after an accumulation of 2
inches of snow and
continuing per storm and,
in a timely manner, to deal
with spreading of salt
during ice accumulation.
Bidders must be capable
of plowing snow and clear-
ing all streets within the
Corporation; removal of
snow from the sidewalk on
Washington Street
through High Street; and
include with the bid a
street clean up sweep at
the end of the season.
A list of all equipment and
hourly rates shall be
included with the bid
proposal, including salt spreading equipment, sale, and aggregate costs.
Maps of the street layout are available at the Harpers Ferry Town Hall. Bids must be received no later than noon,
October 4, 2021.
