PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE

In accordance with Chapter 8A, Article 5, Section 8 of the Code of West Virginia 2004, as amended, the Berkeley County Planning
Commission will hold a public hearing to consider the public comments on the following projects:

REQUEST FOR FINAL PLAT APPROVAL:
High View Estates, Phase 2, Lots 6-10 & 17-22:
The property is located on Thatcher Road, approximately ¾ mile from
intersection with Dry Run Road, in the Hedgesville Tax District. The final plat is proposing eleven (11) single-family lots on
approximately 33 acres, to be served by private well and septic.

REQUEST FOR FINAL PLAT APPROVAL:
South Brook, Section 1, Phase 1, Lots 1-5, 8-12, 53-58, 74-81, 94-99 & TH 1-15: The property is
located on Shiley Road (CR 34/2); approximately 0.3 miles north of Hatchery Road (CR 11/8), in the Mill Creek Tax
District. The final plat is proposing 45 residential lots (30 single family
detached and 15 single family attached), on
approximately 15 acres, to be served by public water and sewer.

REQUEST FOR WAIVER:
Kunkel Addition: The
property is located on the northwest corner of the intersection of Joshua Drive and Route 11, in the
Opequon Tax District. The developer is requesting a Waiver to Section 801, Table 8-1A (off-street parking), of the Berkeley County Subdivision
Ordinance (2009)
requiring 198 spaces, the developer is proposing 191 parking spaces.

The PUBLIC HEARING will be held on Monday, October 18, 2021, in the Planning Commission Chambers, 400 West Stephen Street, in the
City of Martinsburg at
6:00 p.m. All persons and agencies having an interest on said plats are invited to participate in this hearing and make their comments known. In the event that an unforeseen circumstance would cause the Planning Commission to cancel the scheduled meeting, a back-up public hearing date of Monday, November 1, 2021 will be utilized.
