PUBLIC HEARING
NOTICE
In accordance with Chapter 8A, Article 5, Section 8 of the Code of West Virginia 2004, as amended, the Berkeley County Planning
Commission will hold a public hearing to consider the public comments on the following projects:
REQUEST FOR SKETCH PLAN APPROVAL:
Mountaineer Recovery
Village: The project is
located on the west side of Van Metre Road,
approximately 900′ south of the intersection of Van Metre Rd. and Charles Town Rd., in the Arden Tax District. This project is proposing (3) recovery residences (2 male and 1 female building totaling
48 bed capacity), (2) forty-eight bed dormitories and (19) four unit townhome buildings, on approximately 72 acres to be served by public water and sewer.

REQUEST FOR SKETCH PLAN APPROVAL:
Falling Waters Industrial Center – Lot 6C:
The project is located on the northeast corner of the intersection of Langston Blvd. and Lansdale Court, in the Falling Waters Tax District. The developer is proposing the construction of a 14,875 square foot warehouse, office space, axe toss, and brewery with an additional 2,040 square foot outdoor patio. The site is 2.13 acres and will be served by public water and sewer.

The PUBLIC HEARING will be held on Monday, November 1, 2021, in the Planning Commission Chambers, 400 West Stephen Street, in the
City of Martinsburg at
6:00 p.m. All persons and agencies having an
interest on said plats are invited to participate in this hearing and make their comments known. In the event that an unforeseen circumstance would cause the Planning Commission to cancel the scheduled meeting, a back-up public hearing date of Monday, November 15, 2021 will be utilized.
