Notice of Public Hearing

The following cases will be heard before the Historic Preservation Review Commission requesting a “Certificate of Appropriateness” on Monday,
December 6, 2021, at
6:30 p.m. in City Council Chambers, 232 N. Queen Street, Martinsburg, WV. In the event that an unforeseen circumstance would cause the Historic Preservation Review Commission to cancel the scheduled meeting, a backup public hearing date of Monday, January 3, 2022, will be utilized.

1. Project #2021-8-HP. 122 S. Maple Street, Tax Map 14/Parcel 331.
Application requesting a Certificate of Appropriateness to install a freestanding sign in front of
business.

2. Project #2021-9-HP. 202 S. Queen Street, Tax Map 14/Parcel 499. Application requesting a Certificate of Appropriateness to install replace store sign on building, gold “framing” on each display window with store logo and small store sign affixed to the corners of the building,
install double entry doors that are bronzed metal and glass, and install ADA compliant ramp.
