The below Free Day Schedule for West Virginia residential household trash only shall apply throughout the year 2022: Short Creek Landfill is open to Free Day participants from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM the third Wednesday of each month. Household Trash Waste such as garbage, rubbish, trash, furniture & other similar wastes only. Waste that will be prohibited; Batteries, Construction and Demolition Waste, E-Waste, Hazardous Waste, Oil Products, and Tires. Only 516lbs. will be free, above this weight will be subject to regular tonnage rate. The 2022 year Free Day Schedule is as listed below;
