INVITATION TO BID
Wheeling Park and the Wheeling Park Commission invite proposals to provide all Work, including but not limited to labor, material, equipment supplies and transportation for:
Wheeling Park
Memorial Ice Rink
Chiller Replacement
Project consists of the demolition and legal disposal of existing chillers and condensing units along with associated wiring, piping, etc. New work includes the addition of an electrical room, installation of Owner provided chillers and condensers, new brine piping to the existing rink header, concrete work, new electrical, miscellaneous associated work.
All Bids must be submitted in accordance with the Bidding Documents issued by the Owner and the Request for Bids. Plans and Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Owner at the Pre-bid Meeting. A $25 non-refundable deposit is required for each set. Checks payable to: Wheeling Park Commission.
A MANDATORY PREBID MEETING IS SCHEDULED FOR:

Place: Wheeling Park White Palace Teen Center, Wheeling, WV 26003
Attendance is MANDATORY. All Bidders MUST attend the prebid meeting to familiarize themselves with the Project location, site conditions and other relevant information. Should any Bidder fail to attend, the Bid will be disqualified. Other site visits are permissible but the Owner must be advised prior to such visit.
At the Pre-bid Meeting, Contractors and their Subcontractors will be permitted to tour the site where the Owner will be available to answer questions
After the review of the documents and after the prebid, written questions only will be addressed by addendum. The written questions must be submitted via email to Owner’s Representative Curt Byrum at:

Sealed Bids will be received by Wheeling Park Commission until 2:00 pm, on Wednesday, April 20, 2016. Bids may either be mailed to:

The bids will be opened publicly in the White Palace Teen Center at that time. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive irregularity in the bids and in the bidding.
