NOTICE
Advertisement for Bids: Village of Dillonvale
Sealed bids for construction of a gymnasium roof replacement, parapet walls, glass block window replacement and gymnasium entrance will be received by the VILLAGE OF DILLONVALE at the Village Building, 135 School Street, PO Box 546, Dillonvale, Ohio until 11:00am local time, February 8th, 2022 and then at said office publicly opened and read aloud.

Gymnasium roof replacement:
Remove the existing roofs and insulation down to the deck; remove loose membrane flashings; remove all debris from the roof and haul away to an approved landfill. Inspect the existing decking and report any problems to the owner. All repairs will be approved by owner on a time and material basis. Provide and install new wood blocking on top of parapet walls. Over the entire aria, apply a continuous layer of tapered insulation with a minimum thickness of 1.5 at the roof drain. Over the new insulation, apply a 60 mil, fully adhered, EPDM rubber roof system. At all walls and curbs, install membrane flashing. Mechanically attach the new flashing continuously along the top edge. Apply manufacturer approved flashing systems at all pipes, drain, metal drain boxes, and other projections. Provide and install new coping fabricated from
24-gauge galvanized steel with kynar 500 coating. Provide and install new Retro-Fit roof drains. Perform all work in strict accordance with the manufacturer s printed specifications. Perform only as much work that can be made watertight that day. Comply with all State and Federal Regulations. Upon completion, furnish manufacturer s written warranty for labor and materials for 20 years. Remove the existing roof decking and provide and install new metal decking over the entire roof area. Metal decking will be 3 N Roof Deck, 22 gauge, G60 Galvanized.
Gymnasium parapet walls: Remove the face brick and backup brick down to the support lintels. Replace support lintels. Relay face brick and backup brick. Install helical anchors. Clean new brick. Remove all construction debris and garbage from the jobsite.
Block window replacement:
Remove the glass block and sills from the twelve window openings. Install bloc and brick veneer to make a smaller opening. Install a smaller glass block window in the new opening.
Remove all construction debris and garbage from the jobsite.
Gymnasium entrance:
Remove the coping stones from above the main entrance. Remove the face brick and backup brick from above entrance. Remove the limestone from above the main entrance. Remove I-beam. Install new I-Beam. Install new limestone. Install new face brick and backup brick. Reinstall coping stones. Remove all construction debris and garbage from the jobsite.
The Owner reserves the right to wave any informality or to reject any or all bids.
Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or Corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. This project requires a 100% bid security.
All work done under this contract shall be subject to all state requirements concerning the payment of the prevailing wage.
No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date the opening thereof.
