The Belomar Regional Council is requesting proposals from qualified firms of certified public accountants to perform a single audit of the Regional Council’s financial statements for the fiscal year ending 6-30-2022, with the option of auditing the Regional Council’s financial statements for the five (5) subsequent fiscal years.
Your proposal should contain, but not be limited to, the following considerations:
1. Eligibility – authorization by the State Board of Accountants to conduct audits.
2. The experience of your firm in relation to the scope of audits of government firms.
3. A detailed audit plan.
4. Your fee proposal to conduct the basic audit function.
5. Estimated number of hours to complete the audit by classification of employees (i.e., partners, secretaries, etc.)
6. Copy of latest peer review.
