PUBLIC HEARING
The City of Philippi will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at 5:00 p.m. at City Hall, 344 S. Main Street, Philippi, WV. The City is considering the submission of an application to the West Virginia Development Office for no more than $250,000 in Community Development Block Grant funds for the Philippi Demolition Project.
The project will consist of demolishing the old, dilapidated buildings on the corner of Museum Street and North Main Street in Philippi, WV.
The Community Development Block Grant portion is expected not to exceed
$250,000.00. The purpose of this hearing is to allow interested citizens an opportunity to comment and express their views on the proposed application. Written comments will be received by the City of Philippi, PO Box 460, Philippi, WV 26416, until March 1, 2022, for those unable to attend.
