QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ)
FOR ARCHITECTURAL, MEP, STRUCTURAL, F, F &E, & LIFE SAFETY DESIGN FOR IMPROVEMENTS TO THE OGLEBAY CRISPIN CENTER PINE ROOM BUILDING IN WHEELING, WV.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the WHEELING PARK COMMMISION, hereinafter referred to as the OWNER, will be accepting responses to a Request for Qualifications until 5PM on March 4 th , 2022 from architectural firms/teams to provide professional services for design, plans, specifications, development of contract bidding documents, oversight of the bidding process, construction administration and observation for IMPROVEMENTS TO THE OGLEBAY CRISPIN CENTER PINE ROOM BUILDING including architectural design, structural, MEP, Life Safety, F,F&E, etc. Responses to this request should include information to communicate the experience and technical expertise within each discipline the team will bring to the project as well as examples of similar projects completed.
A tour of the building is scheduled for Friday, February 18th at 10:00 AM for interested firms.
Responses to the RFQ s should be submitted to Mr. Greg Salomon, Director of Capital Projects for the Wheeling Park Commission, 465 Lodge Drive, Wheeling, West Virginia 26003.
All responses to the RFQ s must be received by the OWNER no later than 5:00 PM on Friday, March 4 th , 2022. One (1) original and four (4) copies of the information (5 total) must be submitted and addressed as follows:

IN RESPONSE TO RFQ FOR THE OGLEBAY CRISPIN CENTER PINE ROOM BUILDING
The Owner shall evaluate the statements of qualifications and performance data and other material submitted by interested firms and select three or more design teams which, in their opinion, are best qualified to perform the desired service. Interviews with each of those teams selected shall be conducted from which a winning team will be chosen and a fee negotiated.
The Owner anticipates a phased construction process over a number of years with the first phase of construction to begin this year.
