Request for Bids Monday, April 11th, 2016 Background: The Fayette County Urban Renewal Authority (FCURA) is a Fayette County governing body which oversees the development of Wolf Creek Park, a mixed use development in Fayetteville, WV. The FCURA is requesting bids for landscaping detail for the spring/ summer of 2016. Proposal Details: The location of the beds to be maintained is at the entry way of Wolf Creek Park at Route 16 and Nick Rahall Greenway. Square footage of beds and planters to be maintained is less than 200 sq. ft. Duties include: planting of shrubs and flowers, watering, weeding, and general maintenance of established beds, planters, and ornamental trees. No mowing, weed eating, or edging required. Native, perennial, and pollinator friendly flowers and plants preferred. Use of petroleum based pesticides and fertilizers should be kept to a minimum. Water access onsite. Contractor will be compensated on a monthly basis. Bids are due no later than Friday, April 29th, 2016. All bids received after due date will not be considered.
