REQUESTS FOR BIDS
Furnishing Radio Read Water Meters and Accessories
Sealed bids will be received by The Ohio County Development Authority at its office in the City/County Building, Room 215, 1500 Chapline Street, Wheeling, WV 26003 until, May 5, 2016 at 3:00 P.M. and said bids will be publicly opened and read immediately thereafter for the construction of the following project: Furnishing Radio Read Water Meters and Accessories.
Copies of plans, specifications and proposal forms can be obtained from the Engineer, Vaughn, Coast & Vaughn, Inc., 154 South Marietta Street, St. Clairsville, Ohio 43950 (740) 695-7256, upon payment of a deposit of fifty dollars ($50.00) (non-refundable).
The above stated deposit is required before the documents can be made available. Bidders who submit a Bid must be a Plan Holder of record at the Engineer’s Office.
Bids are to be sealed and addressed to “Ohio County Development Authority,” 1500 Chapline Street, Room 215, Wheeling, West Virginia 26003 and noted on the envelope as a Bid for Furnishing Radio Read Water Meters and Accessories.
The Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids. The Authority reserves the right to defer, delay or postpone the date for receiving and opening proposals. The Authority reserves the right to negotiate with the lowest responsible Bidder if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Project. The Authority further reserves the right to waive any informality in a Bid or reject such an informal bid if it is to their advantage to do so.
