NATIONAL FOREST TIMBER FOR SALE
MONONGAHELA NATIONAL FOREST
The Drumming Sale is located within Randolph County, 30 miles Northeast of Bartow WV, in the headwaters of Big Run. The Forest Service will receive Sealed bids by mail, courier or hand-delivery at: Forest Supervisor’s Office, 200 Sycamore Street, Elkins, WV 26241, before 2:00 PM local time on 07/14/2022. No public bid opening will be held. Bid results will be posted on the Monongahela National Forest Timber website as soon as practical after bid opening. There is an estimated volume of 462 CCF of Black Cherry sawtimber, 705 CCF of Maple (RM, SM) sawtimber, 44 CCF of Hardwood – Other (Be, Bi, Hem) sawtimber, 46 CCF of Spruce (Red Spruce) sawtimber, and 79 CCF of Pulpwood (Red Spruce) marked or otherwise designated for cutting. In addition, there is within the sale area an unestimated volume of pulpwood that the bidder may agree to remove at a fixed rate. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Interested parties may obtain a prospectus from the office listed below. A prospectus, bid form, and
complete information concerning the timber, the conditions of sale, and submission of bids is available to the public from the Forest Supervisor’s Office, Cheat/Potomac Ranger District, or found on the Monongahela National Forest website at:
