CEMETERY RELOCATION PROGRAM
The West Virginia Department of Transportation, Division of Highways has begun gathering information concerning the relocation of an unnamed cemetery, on State Project No. X342-H-40.21 (05), Federal project No. NHPP-0484(322), Corridor H – WV 72 Interchange to Parsons. The unnamed cemetery is located on the south side of US 219, on lands formerly owned by Bernettie P. Gnegy and Donna Gnegy Spradlin and Deborah G. Graham.
Anyone having knowledge of the deceased or relatives of the deceased are asked to contact Mr. Travis Rose at (304) 414-6651, Division of Highways Right of Way Division’s Central Office, Building 5, 1900 Kanawha Blvd. East, Charleston, West Virginia 25305-0430.
The Department of Transportation has a cemetery relocation program to advise the next of kin of their eligibility for the relocation of graves.
