NATIONAL FOREST TIMBER FOR SALE
MONONGAHELA NATIONAL FOREST
The South Laurel Sale is located within Greenbrier County, 15 miles north of White Sulphur, WV, in the headwaters of the Greenbrier River. The Forest Service will receive Sealed bids at Forest Supervisor’s Office, 200 Sycamore St, Elkins, WV 26241 before 2:00 PM local time on 09/08/2022. No public bid opening will be held. Bid results will be posted on the Monongahela National Forest Timber webpage as soon as practical after bid opening. There is an estimated volume of 258 CCF of Maple(RM, SM) sawtimber, 55 CCF of Hardwood – Other(BB, BG, Hic) sawtimber, 2991 CCF of Red & Black Oak(SO) sawtimber, 687 CCF of White Oak(CO) sawtimber, 52 CCF of Eastern White Pine(Hem) sawtimber, 845 CCF of Yellow Poplar(Cuc) sawtimber, and 2086 CCF of Pulpwood marked or otherwise designated for cutting. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Interested parties may obtain a prospectus from the office listed below.
