It appearing by affidavit filed in this action that the whereabouts and address of the above-named Respondent are unknown and that the Petitioner has used due diligence to attempt to locate the Respondent, you, the Respondent, are hereby notified that a Petition for Appointment of Guardian for the minor child, K.W.S. (DOB:12/01/2017) has been filed in the Family Court of Ohio County, West Virginia, Civil Action No. 2022-FIG-3. You are hereby notified that this action may affect your rights to custody of K.W.S.
It is hereby ORDERED that you, the Respondent, serve upon Kira Chilcote Maunz, Esq., Counsel for Petitioner, whose address is 1025 Main St., Ste 716, Wheeling, WV 26003, an Answer, including any related counterclaims or defenses you may have within thirty (30) days of the first (1st) publication of this notice. A copy of said Petition for Appointment of Guardian can be obtained from the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Ohio County, West Virginia located at the City/County Building, 1500 Chapline St., Wheeling, WV 26003.
