The Business Development Corporation of the Northern Panhandle (BDC) is requesting proposals for the remediation of the former TS&T Pottery Riverbank site located in Chester, WV. The remediation, which is being performed under a Brownfields Cleanup Grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, will include the excavation and disposal of lead-contaminated sediment from an approximate 1200-square foot area within the Ohio River and the placement of riprap/stone along a 200-foot section of river shoreline. Proposals will be accepted at the BDC office, located at 3174 Pennsylvania Avenue, Suite 1, Weirton, WV 26062, until 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 27, 2016.
