NATIONAL FOREST TIMBER FOR SALE
MONONGAHELA NATIONAL FOREST
The Hemlock Run Sale is located within Pendleton County, 15 miles North of Bartow WV, in the headwaters of Hemlock Run. The Forest Service will receive Sealed bids at Forest Supervisor’s Office, 200 Sycamore Street, Elkins, WV 26241 before or at the time of public bid opening at 2:00 PM local time on 01/26/2023 for an estimated volume of 42 CCF of Black Cherry sawtimber, 453 CCF of Maple (RM, SM) sawtimber, 48 CCF of Hardwood – Other (Bi, Bass, Cuc, Hem, Hic,) sawtimber, 561 CCF of Oak (WO, CO) sawtimber, 3772 CCF of Red & Black Oak sawtimber, and 1552 CCF of Pulpwood marked or otherwise designated for cutting. The Forest Service reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Interested parties may obtain a prospectus from the office listed below. A prospectus, bid form, and complete information concerning the timber, the conditions of sale, and submission of bids is available to the public from the Cheat Ranger District, 459 Nursery Bottom Road, Parsons WV 26287 or Supervisor’s Office.
