The below Free Day Schedule for West Virginia
residential household trash only shall apply throughout the year 2023:
Short Creek Landfill is open to Free Day participants from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM the third Wednesday of each month. Household Trash
Waste such as garbage, rubbish, trash, furniture & other similar wastes only. Waste that will be prohibited; Batteries, Construction and Demolition Waste, E-Waste, Hazardous Waste, Oil Products, and Tires. Only 516lbs. will be free, above this weight will be subject to regular tonnage rate.
