Notice of Application
Notice is given that Appalachia Midstream Services, LLC has applied to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a 45CSR13 NSR Permit Modification for the existing Buffalo Compressor Station located at 9628 Bethany Pike / WV-67, Bethany, in Brooke County, West Virginia.
The latitude and longitude coordinates are 40.19667 degrees N x -80.52167 degrees W.
The applicant estimates the increase/(decrease) in the potential to discharge the following regulated air pollutants will be:
(0.01) tons of nitrogen oxides per year
(0.06) tons of carbon monoxide per year
11.21 tons of volatile organic compounds per year
0.20 tons of particulate matter per year
0.02 tons of sulfur dioxide per year
(0.01) tons of formaldehyde per year
3.02 tons of methanol per year
3.80 tons of total hazardous air pollutants per year
3,992 tons of carbon dioxide equivalent per year
Startup of operation is planned to begin on or about the 1st of March 2023.
Written comments will be received by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, 601 57th Street, SE, Charleston, WV 25304, for at least 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice.
