Tyler County Real
Property Owners
Pursuant to Chapter 11,
Article 3, Section 2A of the
West Virginia Code, as
amended, notice is hereby
given to all Tyler County
Real Property owners that
for Tax Year 2023, all
Real Property will be
assessed at sixty percent
(60%) of its current
market value. Adjustments
in farmland values,
making changes to your
property use or
improvements to your
property could also
generate an increase of
ten percent (10%) or more
in property value.
Should you have any

assessment of your Real
Property, you may contact
the Tyler County
Assessor’s Office at

may view the preliminary
property books from
February 1-February 28,
2023.
If you disagree with the
value of your property,
you may appeal your
values to the County
Commission sitting as a
Board of Review and
Equalization.
The Board of Review &
Equalization is scheduled
to meet between
February 1, 2023 and
February 28, 2023.
