BOARD OF REVIEW & EQUALIZATION OHIO COUNTY 2023
Notice is hereby given that the Ohio County Commission of Ohio County (in compliance with Chapter 11, Article 3, and Section 24 of the West Virginia Code as amended) will sit as the Board of Review and Equalization for Ohio County. The purpose of this Board is to review and equalize property assessments. Hearings will take place at 6:00 p.m. in Room 215 of the City County Building, 1500 Chapline Street, Wheeling, WV on Wednesday, February 1st, Monday, February 6th, Thursday, February 9th, Tuesday, February 14th, Thursday, February 16th, Monday, February 20th, Thursday, February 23rd, and Tuesday, February 28th, 2023.
If you desire to have your assessment reviewed, please contact the Ohio County Assessor’s Office at 234-3626 to schedule an informal hearing. If you would like a formal hearing before the Board of Review and Equalization you may obtain the proper form by contacting the Ohio County Commission Office. The Board of Equalization & Review may adjourn as early as February 15th, 2023, or as soon thereafter as appointments dictate. Under no circumstances can hearings be scheduled beyond February 28th, 2023.
