Randolph County Recycling Assistance Grant Project
Request for Bids
Notice is hereby given that Bids will be received by the Randolph County Commission located in the Courthouse Annex Building, 4 Randolph Av, Suite 102, Elkins, WV 26241 for the purchase of a forklift and a skid steer broom attachment.
Submitted bids must contain the following:
* A bid for a new or used full-sized Forklift which shall be of good quality as to workmanship and material used (must be 2018 or newer with less than 2,000 hours). The bidder represents that all equipment offered in the bid shall meet or exceed all state and federal standards and requirements. The Randolph County Commission intends to purchase the following lift: One (1) full-size, front load 5,000 lb. lifting capacity LPG fuel forklift with solid pneumatic traction drive tires, solid pneumatic traction steer tires, and a class II fork carriage with load backrest; must be able to attach a skid steer hydraulic sweeper broom to it.
* A bid for a new or used skid steer hydraulic sweeper broom. Attachment must be compatible with above-mentioned forklift.
* Bidders must submit with their bid the latest pictures and printed literature on equipment that the bidder proposes to furnish. This literature shall include an engine chart showing horsepower and other characteristics. All specifications must be listed on a separate sheet of paper and attached to the bid.
* Bid submitted must be for the forklift AND a compatible sweeper broom. If a bidder desires to submit more than one bid, the bids must be sent separately.
* Bid must include cost of delivery of all equipment and all applicable taxes and fees.
* Please include Warranty information with bid.
Bid submission deadline is Wednesday, March 1 at 4:00 p.m. Bids will be opened on Thursday, March 2nd in the Commission meeting room in the James Cain Annex of the Randolph County Courthouse during the regular Commission Meeting as scheduled according to the agenda. This project is being funded by the WV DEP REAP Recycling Assistance grant. The Randolph County Commission reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, waive any informality, or to accept and enter into contract with the lowest responsible bidder.
