or obtained through the office of the Architect, Shaeffer & Madama, Inc., 57 Fourteenth Street, Wheeling, WV 26003 upon receipt of a $100.00 deposit per project. Any unsuccessful bidder returning such sets within ten (10) consecutive calendar days following the bid opening in good, reusable condition will be refunded their deposit less postage. Non-bidders will not receive a refund. Contractors are limited to two (2) sets by deposit. A CD containing Plans, Specifications and Contract documents may be obtained from the Architect for a $25.00 non-refundable payment.
The Housing Authority of the City of Wheeling may consider informal any bid not prepared in accordance with the provisions of this advertisement and/or the specifications and may waive any informality or reject any and all bids. The contract will be awarded following HUD approval.
Pre-Bid Meetings will be held as follows:
SITE IMPROVEMENTS: 1:30PM/EST on WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 24, 2016. Interested parties are to meet at the Project Site, 1000 Hil-Dar Street, Wheeling, WV.
EXTERIOR EXIT STAIR: 2:30PM/EST on WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 24, 2016. Interested parties are to meet at the Project Site, 54 Thirteenth Street, Wheeling, WV.
