NOTICE
NOTICE OF PROPOSED ADOPTION OF VARIOUS ORDINANCES OF THE CITY OF WHEELING TO ADOPT THE CURRENT STATE OF WEST VIRGINIA BUILDING CODES IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF WEST VIRGINIA CODE AND CURRENT WEST VIRGINIA LEGISLATIVE RULE.
At its regular meeting Tuesday, September 20, 2016, at 5:30 p.m. in the City Council Chambers, 1500 Chapline Street, Wheeling, WV, the Council of the City of Wheeling will consider for adoption ordinances for the following provisions of the WV State Building Code:
International Building Code – 2015
International Plumbing Code – 2015
International Mechanical Code – 2015
International Fuel Gas Code – 2015
International Property Maintenance Code – 2015
International Energy Conservation Code -2009/Amendments
International Residential Code – 2015
International Existing Building Code – 2015
American National Standards for Accessibility – 2009/Amendments
National Electric Code, NFPA 70 – 2014
Interested parties may appear at the September 6, 2016 City Council meeting at 12:00 noon and be heard with respect to the proposed ordinances.
A copy of the proposed ordinances, and the subject codes, may be inspected by the public at the Office of the City Clerk and the Building Code Enforcement Department, Room 303 and 308, City-County Building, 1500 Chapline Street, Wheeling, WV.
