NOTICE OF PROPOSED CONVEYANCE
OF UNITED METHODIST CHURCH PROPERTY
(SIMPSON UNITED METHODIST CHURCH)
Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of the West Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church will, on or after September 23, 2016 upon the payment of the sum of Seven Thousand Dollars ($7,000.00) in cash, QUITCLAIM, SELL, and CONVEY to CHURCH OF GOD AND SAINTS OF CHRIST WHEELING, all of their right, title and interest, together with the hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining, in and to those parcels of land located in the City of Wheeling, County of Ohio, State of West Virginia, more particularly described as follows:

Parcel One:
Beginning at a point where the southern property line of a parcel, conveyed by the Trustees of the Simpson United Methodist Church to the Urban Renewal Authority of Wheeling, recorded in the Office of the Clerk of Ohio County Commission in Deed Book 541, Page 124, would intersect with the east side of Eoff Street; thence from the said beginning point and in an easterly direction N 82* 06′ E, 93.65 feet; thence N 7* 36′ 55″ W, 80 feet; thence S 82* 06′ W, 93.06 feet; thence in a southerly direction along Eoff Street S 7* 36′ 55″ E, 80 feet, to the place of beginning. The said parcel contains approximately 7,491.9 square feet.

Parcel Two:
Beginning at a point where the northern property line of the parcel described heretofor as Parcel 1 would intersect with the easterly side of Eoff Street; thence with the said northerly property line N 82* 06′ E, 93.65 feet; thence along the said easterly property line S 7* 36′ 55″ E, 15.55 feet; thence leaving the aforementioned Parcel 1, N 35* 56′ E, 38 feet; thence N 7* 36′ 55″ W, 15.5 feet; thence S. 82* 06′ W, 119.77 feet to a point where it would intersect with the easterly side of Eoff Street; thence along Eoff Street S 7* 36′ 55″ E, 27.55 feet to the place of beginning. The said parcel contains approximately 3,645.5 square feet.

And being the same property conveyed from the Urban Renewal Authority of Wheeling, a statutory corporation, City of Wheeling, Operating Agent to Eva O. Peters, John H. Kent, James L. Edwards, Clyde Williams, Edgar Meeks, Margie Ruth, Theodore D. Walters, Floyd Griffen, and William Banks, Trustees of the Simpson United Methodist Church of Wheeling, by Deed dated the 2nd day of August, 1977 and of record in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Ohio County, West Virginia in Deed Book 577, at page 132.
Said Church having been declared discontinued and/or abandoned by the regular 2015 session of the West Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.
