ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Separate SEALED BIDS for:
Wetzel County
Commissioners’ Office, New Office Building Renovations
will be received by the Wetzel County Commission, 200 Main Street, New Martinsville, WV 26155, at the above address until:
9:30 AM, Local Time
Tuesday,
September 19th, 2023
And at that time and place will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The Work includes complete renovation of the 2-story Commissioners Office building located at 251 Main Street, New Martinsville, WV 26155. Renovations include Commissioners meeting room, restrooms, and conference room on first floor, four (4) offices, restroom, break room and storage room on second floor. New flooring, wall finishes, drop ceilings, plumbing, electric, hot water heater and HVAC.
The BID DOCUMENTS are on file at the above address.
Bid Documents may be obtained for a cost of $50 from Swiss Valley Associates, Inc, 42631 State Route 7, P.O. Box 39; Hannibal, OH 43931,

Each Bid must be accompanied by either a bid bond in an amount of 100% of the Bid amount or by certified check or cashier’s check in the amount of not less than 5% of the Bid amount. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance and payment bond for 100% of the contract price.
The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any and all bids. If bids are 10% over the estimated project cost, the Owner will have the option to be rebid the project.
A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at the current Commissioner’s Office, 200 Main Street, New Martinsville, WV 26155 on Wednesday, August 30th, 2023 at 1:00 PM.
