Notice is given that Genesis Cremation Services, Inc, has applied to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a Construction permit for a crematory located at 8th St, 244, in Chesterm in Hancock County, West Virginia. The latitude and longitude coordinates are: lat 40.6131203 and long 80.5628478.
The applicant estimates the new unit to have a potential to discharge the following Regulated Air Pollutants:
Sulfur Dioxide: 0.3047 (TPY)
Nitrogen Oxide: 0.4998 (TPY)
PM: 0.6557 (TPY)
PM10 0.6557 (TPY)
Carbon Monoxide: 0.4142 (TPY)
CO2e: 1586.39 (TPY) of CO2e
Startup of operation is planned to begin on or about the 14th day of November, 2023. Written comments will be received by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, 601 57th Street, SE, Charleston, WV, 25304 for at least 30 calendar days from the day of publication of this notice.
