NOTICE OF
APPLICATION FOR A MERGER PURSUANT TO SECTION 18(c) OF THE FEDERAL DEPOSIT INSURANCE ACT
In accordance with the publication requirements under the Federal Deposit Insurance Act, notice is hereby given that Wayne Savings Community Bank intends to apply to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Ohio Division of Financial Institutions for permission to cause Main Street Bank Corp. to merge with and into Wayne Savings Community Bank. Wayne Savings Community Bank has its principal place of business located at 151 North Market Street, Wooster, Ohio 44691. Main Street Bank Corp. has its principal place of business located at 2001 Main Street, Suite 100, Wheeling, West Virginia 26003. It is expected that after the completion of the merger, Main Street Bank Corp.’s office locations will continue to be operated as branch locations of the surviving bank.
The Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Ohio Division of Financial Institutions consider a number of factors in deciding whether to approve the application, including the record of performance of the applicant banks in helping to meet local credit needs.
