IN THE MATTER OF OHIO COUNTY CASE # 23-JA-127 SARAH RUTHERS, biological mother of infant M.R.. whose date of birth is December 21, 2009 and SHAWN SPEAR, JR., biological father of December 21, 2009, natural child of Sarah Ruthers.
The Petitioner, the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources, has filed a petition alleging that SHAWN SPEAR, JR. has abused and neglected, abandoned, or failed to provide for the care, custody and control of infant M.R., whose date of birth is December 21, 2009. SHAWN SPEAR, JR is ORDERED to appear in the courtroom of the Honorable Michael J. Olejasz, Judge of the Circuit Court of Ohio County, West Virginia, Fifth Floor, Ohio County Courthouse, Wheeling, WV on the 1st day of February, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. for an Adjudication Hearing , if he so desires to object or make other defenses to the Petition; otherwise SHAWN SPEAR, JR., biological father of M.R., whose date of birth is December 1,2009, may be adjudicated an abusive and neglectful parent.
