Request for Proposals for
Port Security Camera System
The City of New
Martinsville has received a Port Security Grant for the installation of a camera
system to enhance
security along its border
with the Ohio River. The
areas to be covered
include both hard and soft targets, including the
Hydroelectric Park, the ballfields on what is now called Hydro Drive, the
Veterans Memorial Bridge underpass, the First
Responder Park, the Back Home Festival Venue
encompassing all of
downtown, the Marina on Harlan Drive, the South
Sewage Plant, and Hassig
Fields.
The objective of the
proposal is to secure
quotes for video
surveillance and recording system and installation to cover the targets as listed above. The quote should include a detailed
description of cameras,
types, where they would be installed, estimated
time for completion, and
cost. This is a federally funded project and must adhere to all applicable
federal, state, and local
rules and regulations.
The City reserves the right to reject any and all
proposals, to negotiate
any element of a contract and to conduct interviews at its sole discretion.

no later than the close of
business on Friday,
February 16, 2024.
