REQUESTS FOR BIDS
G. C. & P. Road
Water Main
Replacement
Sealed bids will be received by The Ohio County Public Service District at its office at 5383 National Road, Triadelphia, WV 26059 until Thursday, April 3, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. and said bids will be publicly opened and read immediately thereafter for the construction of the following project: G. C. & P. Road Water Main Replacement. This includes 5,465 lf of 12- and 8-inch HDPE water main (3,790 lf 12″ HDD, 1,575 lf 12″ Open Trench, 100 lf 8″ HDD) replacement of 5 fire hydrants, 15 customer service reconnections, and removal/salvage of existing fire hydrants and a valve.
Copies of plans, specifications and proposal forms can be obtained from the Engineer, Vaughn, Coast & Vaughn, Inc., 154 South Marietta Street, St. Clairsville, Ohio 43950 (740) 695-7256, upon payment of a deposit of one hundred dollars ( $100.00) (non-refundable). A digital copy (PDF format) will be provided for a deposit of $25 (non-refundable).
The above stated deposit is required before the documents can be made available. Bidders who submit a Bid must be a Plan Holder of record at the Engineer’s Office.
Bids are to be sealed and addressed to ” Ohio County Public Service District ,” 5383 National Road, Triadelphia, West Virginia 26059 and noted on the envelope as a Bid for G. C. & P. Road Water Main Replacement.
The Public Service District reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids . The Public Service District reserves the right to defer, delay or postpone the date for receiving and opening proposals. The Public Service District reserves the right to negotiate with the lowest responsible Bidder if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Project. The Public Service District further reserves the right to waive any informality in a Bid or reject such an informal bid if it is to their advantage to do so.
