PUBLIC NOTICE
On this date November 22, 2016, the Greenbrier County Commission approved the Land Use Master Plan (LUMP). As a result of Senate Bill 603 the Land Use Master Plan was developed to assist counties affected by surface mining in West Virginia. Approval of the plan provides the Greenbrier County Commission Authority the ability to enhance development opportunities for alternate land uses of surface mine; therefore, setting standards for development on such properties in Greenbrier County. If the public has comments, please address them to the Greenbrier County Economic Develop-ment Corporation at 804 Industrial Park Rd., Maxwelton, WV 24957. This comment deadline is January 14th, 2017.
