Bruce Pool Site
Preparation
Separate sealed bids will be received by the City of New Martinsville Parks and Recreation Department at 197 Main Street, New Martinsville, WV 26155 until 4:00 PM on Monday, July 1st , 2024. Bids will be opened publicly and read aloud during the regular City Council meeting to be held at New Martinsville City Hall, same address, 7:30 PM on Monday, July 1st , 2024.
The work includes demolition and removal of Bruce Pool, except for the front entry structure which will be preserved, and preparation of the site and structure for future use. A new electrical service will be installed at the Bruce Park Mini-Golf Building.
Bid documents may be obtained for a cost of $50 from Swiss Valley Associates, In., 42631 State Route 7, P.O. Box 39, Hannibal, OH 43931, (740)483-2351.
Each bid must be accompanied by either a bid bond in an amount of 100% of the bid amount or by certified check or cashier’s check in the amount of not less than 5% of the bid amount. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance and payment bond for 100% of the contract price.
The City of New Martinsville reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any and all bids. The City of New Martinsville is an EOE.
