Material Supply
Contract
Sealed bids will be received by The Washington Pike Public Service District at its office at 877 Washington Pike, Wellsburg, WV 26070 until Friday, November 8, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. and said bids will be publicly opened and read immediately thereafter for the following project: Water System Improvements Phase II – Material Supply Contract. This includes the supply of fire hydrants, flushouts, valves, and accessories necessary for improvements to the Washington Pike Public Service District water system.
Copies of plans, specifications and proposal forms can be obtained from the Engineer, Vaughn, Coast & Vaughn, Inc., 154 South Marietta Street, St. Clairsville, Ohio 43950 (740) 695-7256, upon payment of $25 for a digital copy (PDF format).
The above stated deposit is required before the documents can be made available. Bidders who submit a Bid must be a Plan Holder of record at the Engineer’s Office.
Bids are to be sealed and addressed to ” Washington Pike Public Service District ,” 877 Washington Pike, Wellsburg, West Virginia 26070 and noted on the envelope as a Bid for Water System Improvements Phase II – Material Supply Contract.
The Public Service District reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids . The Public Service District reserves the right to defer, delay or postpone the date for receiving and opening proposals. The Public Service District reserves the right to negotiate with the lowest responsible Bidder if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Project. The Public Service District further reserves the right to waive any informality in a Bid or reject such an informal bid if it is to their advantage to do so.
