INVITATION TO BID
The City of Wheeling / Wheeling Heritage is requesting bids for a historic preservation the completion architectural Reconnaissance survey of the Warwood Neighborhood in Wheeling, Ohio County.
The project includes:
1. The architecture/history survey of approximately 1,400 properties within 2,855 acres.
2. Completion of standard state survey forms for all resources within the survey area.
3. Completion of spatial data provided in a geodatabase.
4. Completion of photo and mapping documentation.
5. Formal written recommendations as to which properties are eligible for the National Register
6. A final survey report summarizing findings and recommendations.
The project completion date is no later than April 30, 2020 and will be reviewed by the West Virginia State Historic Preservation Office. Contractors will be selected based upon (1) cost, (2) experience with similar historic preservation projects, and (3) proven ability to complete a project. The contractor must carry out the described work in accordance with the Secretary of the Interior’s Standards for Identification and Evaluation and the SHPO survey Manuel

Partial funds for this project are through the WV State Historic Preservation Office. All applicable federal, state and local laws, rules, and regulations apply.
