NOTICE
The Northern Panhandle Workforce Development Board, Inc. is soliciting Request for Proposals (RFPs) for the delivery of a Pilot Pre – Apprenticeship Program for area Out-of-School Youth in the Northern Panhandle Region. The Northern Panhandle Region includes Hancock, Brooke, Ohio, Marshall, Wetzel and Tyler counties and the cities of Wheeling and Weirton. The Pilot Pre – Apprenticeship Program is being offered in accordance with the federal Workforce Innovation & Opportunity Act (WIOA). WIOA funds are being used to support the Pilot Pre – Apprenticeship Program. No non – governmental funds will be used. Funding available for the Pilot Pre – Apprenticeship Program is approximately $60,000. If you are interested in bidding on the Pilot Pre – Apprenticeship Program for area Out – of School Youth, you can contact the NPWDB, Inc. office to request a copy of the RFP packet. Or, you can download the RFP packet from this website under the Link “Request for Proposals.” All RFPs are due to the NPWDB, Inc. by no later than 4:00 p.m. on Monday, June 10, 2019.
