The Petitioner, the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources has filed a Petition that may result in the termination of parental rights of MELISSA RAE BARR- ELLIFIRTT, biological mother and custodian of infant M.W.B., whose date of birth is October 4, 2018 and SAMUEL HELMS, putative biological father of infant M.W.B., whose date of birth is October 4, 2018.
The Petitioner has filed a Petition alleging that MELISSA ELLIFIRTT- BARR and SAMUEL HELMS have abused and neglected, abandoned, or failed to provide for the care, custody and control of infant M.W.B., whose date of birth is October 4, 2018. It is ORDERED that MELISSA ELLIFIRTT- BARR and SAMUEL HELMS are notified that they may obtain a copy of the Petition from the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Ohio County, West Virginia and they are further ORDERED to appear in the courtroom of the Honorable Michael J. Olejasz, Judge of the Circuit Court of Ohio County, West Virginia, Fifth Floor, Ohio County Courthouse, Wheeling, West Virginia on the 12th day of July, 2019 at 9:00 a.m. for a Preliminary and Adjudication Hearing if they so desire to object or make other defense to the Petition; otherwise, parental rights of MELISSA RAE BARR- ELLIFIRTT, biological mother and custodian of infant M.W.B., whose date of birth is October 4, 2018 and SAMUEL HELMS, putative biological father of infant M.W.B., whose date of birth is October 4, 2018, may be terminated.
